Hello hello and welcome to my Homepage. I was born and raised in Santa Cruz County, Ca, and currently attending my last year at Santa Clara University for my Bachelors Degree . I am a Communications major in hopes of managing my families business. Along with school, I love to be around my family and friends, play basketball, baking, going to the beach, wake boarding, and pretty much do anything outdoors.
This website was created for my English 138 “Internet Culture” class taught by Professor Olin Bjork at SCU. In my blog, I analyze all of the readings assigned in class. Some of the reading that I analyzed were: Homeland by Cory Doctorow, This Machine Kills Secrets: by Andy Greenberg, Nine Propositions Towards a Cultural Theory of YouTube, by Henry Jenkins were some of the fascinating & intriguing article I analyzed. My Culture hypertext main goal was to create a site for the viewer to receive the best understanding of what a guild is in WoW and what the communication, interaction, and the unique qualities and traits are amongst this particular guild called First Legion of Germanica. My Tactical hypertext is somewhat of PSA on mixing Adderall & Alcohol and all of the dangerous side effects that can occur. This hypertext is broken up into sections: Intro (including my PSA video on The Deadly Party Cocktail) , Ingredients (Alcohol & Adderall), The Party Craze ( Why People Use it), Dangers (Side Effects) Advocating for Change, Lit Review & Annotated Bib. Our Video
Lastly, I have my group Analytical Hypertext analyzing the novel Little Brother, by Cory Doctorow. We also make a connection between the book and Hacktivism, which is very interesting. On this site we created a video on Second Life on what we expect next from the novel. This is a really cool site, I encourage you to check it out.
