Thank You to All

This is my final blog post. I would like to thank anyone who is still reading for sticking around this long. For anyone who left a long time ago, you probably won’t get my message.

The blog posts were more fun than I had ever expected. As I’d mentioned in my first days of writing, when I was a young, naive, first quarter freshman, I’ve tried blogging before. It didn’t work. Well, now I can say that I’ve successfully created a relatively interesting blog and I stuck with it.

Given, it was mandatory, but that’s not really the important part of this story.

In this process, I’ve learned to edit my essays into bite-sized pieces. I’ve learned to pick the important parts of my essays and emphasize the importance of those parts instead of them all. I’ve learned to use WordPress tools to make an awesome looking blog post and to transform my page into something even I wouldn’t mind looking at.

But most importantly, I’ve learned to stick with it. Several times, I was bored to tears with what I was writing, but I knew that I had to have a blog post done soon. So I tried to find something interesting in what I was writing, sometimes easy and sometimes not, and then have fun with what I was writing. It was helpful that I could use gifs as well; I could spend hours watching all of the popular ones on Giphy’s homepage.

I may never write a blog post again, but at least if I don’t I can put this achievement down on my resume.

I kept an academic blog for several months and discussed the things that were important to me.

Now that sounds like something to be proud of.

Thank you all again.
