A Very Important Anniversary for the SCU Alumni Association

This month the SCU Alumni Association is celebrating a milestone anniversary and Archives & Special Collections is getting in on the fun by offering a little quiz to test your knowledge. Use the images from the first ledger of the Alumni Association held in the SCU Archives to answer these fun questions. It’s almost as fun as digging through the records of the Alumni Association in person, but don’t delay – we’re only taking entries through April 30, 2021.

Pursuant to a printed circular issued by Messrs. B.D. Murphy, A. F. Sauffrignon, W.G. Kennedy, Jas. H. Campbell and Chas F. Wiley, and mailed to the graduates of Santa Clara College, about thirty of the alumni at the College, for the purpose of organizing an Association. After partaking of an elegant lunch generously provided by the College Authorities, and some time spent in happily reliving the memories of other days, the gentlemen present were conducted to the Hall of the Philalethic Debating.
