He just getting check that he doesn&#8217;t have a concussion.)\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> Alright, Ange I-I didn\u2019t want to tell you this, \u2026 I was hoping it was just my imagination\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange:<\/strong> Marcus! What is it?<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.scu.edu\/webculture\/files\/2012\/11\/9780765333698.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-154\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.scu.edu\/webculture\/files\/2012\/11\/9780765333698.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"301\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.scu.edu\/webculture\/files\/2012\/11\/9780765333698.jpg 334w, https:\/\/blogs.scu.edu\/webculture\/files\/2012\/11\/9780765333698-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 301px) 100vw, 301px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> It\u2019s..It\u2019s Zeb and Masha<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange:<\/strong> What about them?&#8230; they did this?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> No! They\u2019re gone!&#8230; Taken actually. I tried looking everywhere for them and Carrie Johnstone and her stupid goon squad, but I couldn\u2019t find them. They\u2019ve disappeared!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange:<\/strong> Wait Marcus slow down! I think you should get checked again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> No! jus listen for a sec. It\u2019s the bogeywoman woman, the \u00a0\u201cSevere Haircut Woman,\u201d her real name is Carrie Johnstone. As the temple was burning I noticed her walking around with a camera. Remember when you asked me what was wrong?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange:<\/strong> Yea<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> Well I froze and tensed up because it was her. She passed right by me and I didn\u2019t want to say anything or think anything of it, but when the explosion happened\u2026 <em>(Staring off into the distance)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange:<\/strong> What? \u00a0Marcus, what happened?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> It was her, she did it\u2026. I saw Masha and Zeb walking very stiff and walking\u00a0<em>very<\/em>\u00a0close behind them were a pair of large men in stocking caps just like the ones Carrie Johnstone had been wearing. There was something wrong with them, and I couldn\u2019t place it for a moment, but then it hit me: they were darktards. They disappeared in the dark of the open playa and that\u2019s when the explosion happened.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange: <\/strong>The DHS? They\u2019re back? But why?&#8230;.it\u2019s that USB file Masha gave us. They\u2019re after it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus: <\/strong><em>(in a startled voice) <\/em>The USB! <em>(searching around in his pockets\u2026then pulling it out)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange: <\/strong>Marcus if this is what they\u2019re after, then it\u2019s only a matter of time they realize Masha and Zeb don\u2019t have it\u2026and they\u2019ll come after us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> We need to get out of here<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>(back in San Francisco, in Marcus\u2019s room. Marcus and Masha are sitting on his bed talking. Darryl walks in the room)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl: <\/strong>He man what\u2019s up, you left a message on phone, sounded all worried. I came over as soon I could. What\u2019s wrong?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> Alright Marcus, man I know you been through a lot the past couple of years, but something\u2019s come up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange:<\/strong> I told him to leave you out of this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus: <\/strong>Ange I\u2019m giving him a choice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl: <\/strong>A choice for what, what\u2019s going on?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus: <\/strong>Remember the lady that took us, Carrie Johnstone, the DHS?&#8230; They\u2019re back. They after this <em>(takes out the USB)<\/em> and they took Masha and Zeb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl: <\/strong>What is that?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus: <\/strong>That\u2019s the thing. We don\u2019t know yet, but you can\u2019t see it unless you\u2019re in. Masha and Zeb told us to guard it and if anything were to happen to them, we have to scream it from the mountaintop. Me and Ange got a plan, but we need your help. It\u2019s going to dangerous and life threatening. So you can walk away or pull out the laptop and take a look at this with us. You know, \u201cRed Pill, Blue Pill\u201d kinda thing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange: <\/strong>Nice to know you still have your sarcasm Marcus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl: <\/strong>Marcus what happened to me, still haunts my dreams. I can\u2019t sleep or even walk home without thinking someone is gonna come out of nowhere and pull me into a van and drive off without anyone even knowing I\u2019m gone. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus: <\/strong>I understand Darryl\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl: <\/strong>But it\u2019s time I get over those fears and fight back\u2026 so count me in. What\u2019s the plan?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> Well we\u2019re meeting an friend of mine I met at college at this address, where it\u2019s safer and we know for sure no one is watching. Then we can get started.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>(Underground room- Marcus, Ange and Darryl walk into the room. Charlie already there)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> Darryl this is Charlie, Charlie this is Darryl and you\u2019ve already met Ange.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlie:<\/strong> hey guys what\u2019s up\u2026 We should probably get started. Marcus hand me the USB.<\/p>\n<p><em>(Marcus pulls out the USB and Darryl pulls out his laptop. They all sit around the laptop. They plug in the USB and open the files.) <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl: <\/strong>Holy Shit! This is supposed to be our government protecting us? Whatever happened to our right to privacy?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlie:<\/strong> Please tell me no one here has gotten a flu shot recently?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus:<\/strong> Not me. Ange?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange:<\/strong> No, I\u2019m clean.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl:<\/strong> Same here, clear.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlie:<\/strong> And to think my mom was whining about me not getting one, talking about now I\u2019m going to get sick.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl: <\/strong>And what exactly do you plan on doing with this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange<\/strong>: Hack into the network and broadcast it on national television.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darryl:<\/strong> do you have any idea the damage it\u2019ll do to the government.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlie:<\/strong> I mean cameras and tracing calls is one thing. But microchips and tracking devices?, that\u2019s whole other playing field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ange:<\/strong> And they\u2019re telling people it\u2019s the flu shot. I mean look at it, it\u2019s the size of a dust grain no one would ever know.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcus: <\/strong>It\u2019s time we take our freedom back and letting everyone know about this is the first step.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Like Masha said, we got to &#8220;shout it from the Mountain tops&#8221; and what better way than national television.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Marcus and Ange are in the infirmary.
