I attempted to search for participants at busy hours of the day, so that I may increase likelihood of generalizability.<\/p>\n<p>Here is my video that presents the issue of unknown prejudice among SCU students.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[youtube]http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eS79hzAwqLY&amp;feature[\/youtube]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now I expected more students to talk about race when speaking about themselves and their friends, but no one talked about this when I asked them to characterize themselves and others. I find this quite interesting, and this may show that people do not focus on race when characterizing people. However, when I asked them to talk about their friends and if they are racially diverse, they all said that they had a somewhat diverse friend base. Now this may be due to bias since I am asking such a question, but this would only be determined by distributing a random anonymous survey.<\/p>\n<p>Simply, students on the SCU campus can be hiding the truth. Further, indepth research may be required.
