Now I expected more students to talk about race when speaking about themselves and their friends, but no one talked about this when I asked them to characterize themselves and others. I find this quite interesting, and this may show that people do not focus on race when characterizing people. However, when I asked them to talk about their friends and if they are racially diverse, they all said that they had a somewhat diverse friend base. Now this may be due to bias since I am asking such a question, but this would only be determined by distributing a random anonymous survey.<\/p>\n
