There are many ways I think I could apply what I’ve learned in this course to future ones. Research is definitely an essential way of finding information that you need for potential arguments. While I used to rely on Google to provide me answers, it would usually come to no avail because there weren’t enough scholarly articles to use. While Google is good for short-simple answers for questions like “What is the definition of X” and “How do you pick a lock?,” it rarely answers the thought-provoking questions we encounter during our class research.

I learned so much from this class, and can apply everything I’ve learned to many other classes next year. A lot of things I’ve learned from classes stay in my cognition ephemerally, and I usually forget what I’ve learned over the course of summer because the content I learn isn’t always applicable to other courses. But for this class, the things I’ve learned will carry on. Unlike facts about biology, writing and research is always going to appear in all of my classes, and even after college. This is why I am going to keep all of these new strategies, and methods I’ve learned this quarter under my pocket for whenever I need it in the long run.
