Forwarding Your GroupWise Emails To You New Gmail Account

As some of you might have noticed, our new SCU Gmail accounts do not currently forward our Groupwise emails into our new inboxes.  To do this, we have to create a new rule in Groupwise.  The following instructions will differ slightly if you are using the online-based Groupwise or the actual software.

If you are using Groupwise online:

1.Go to Options and then click on Rules.

2. Change the type to Forward and click Create.

3. Type in a Rule Name ex: Groupwise to Google

4. Fill in the To: field with your username accompanied by the gmail domain name: @gapps.scu.edu  ex: tstudent@gapps.scu.ecu

5. Once you click Save, the rule is complete and you emails should show up in your gmail account now.

If you are using the Groupwise software:

1. Go to Tools and click on Rules.

2. Click New… and type in a Rule Name ex: Groupwise to Google

3. Check the boxes for Received and Mail.

4. Click Add Action and select Forward as Attachment.

5. Fill in the To: field with your email username followed by the gmail domain: @gapps.scu.edu  ex: tstudent@gapps.scu.edu

6. Click Save and your new rule is complete.

And there you have it, you are done!
