Connecting to the Campus Wireless Network with a Smartphone

iOS
1. Open up settings. The main settings page should show an option for Wi-Fi.
2. Now, turn Wi-Fi on by pressing the on/off button. Give the device a few seconds while it searches for available wireless networks. A list of wireless networks should appear. Select SCUWireless.
3. When asked for a password, type in “SCUWireless” as it is written.
4. The wireless connection is now set up on the device. There credentials are stored on the phone permanently.
5. Open up Safari. Go to any website now and it will ask for your Novell credentials. This password may or may not be the same as the one you used for Groupwise. Verify by checking your eCampus.

Android
1. Click the settings button on your device.
2. On the top, click Wireless & Networks. Turn on the Wi-Fi. Click on Wi-Fi setting and wait until a list of networks to show up.
3. Select SCUWireless. The network key is “SCUWireless”.
4. Open up the browser and go to scu.edu. It will redirect to the Novell landing page. Input your Novell ID (first initial and last name), and your password.

Kindle Fire
1. Tap the Quick Settings icon (top right hand corner of screen).
2. Tap the Wi-Fi symbol. Make sure the wireless is switched to “on”. If needed, enter in your password. created for your Kindle in order to turn the Wi-Fi on.
3. Wait a few seconds for your Kindle detects networks in range. Select SCUWireless.
4. When asked for the password, type in “SCUWireless”.
5. Open the browser and go to scu.edu. It will redirect to the Novell landing page. Input your Novell ID and password.

NOOK eReader
1. Turn on NOOK and press the NOOK button. Tap on the Settings button.
2. Tap on the Wireless button and turn on the Wi-Fi. Under Wireless Networks, select SCUWireless.
3. When asked for the network key, input SCUWireless (note: first four letters are capitalized).
4. Open browser and go to scu.edu. It will be redirected to the Novell landing page. Input your Novell ID and original password.
