Sometimes, you don’t need to print double sided. That’s cool — we at the IT desk aren’t going to judge your choice on saving the environment! All kidding aside, if you find yourself on a Mac and need to remove the option to print double sided, follow these steps.

When you hit print, or press command-p, the print dialogue shows up. Verify you’ve selected the correct printer and ensure you have the right pages selected. Now, before hitting print, select the box to the lower left side of the screen, which should be labeled ‘PDF’. Select the option to open in PDF, and once that finishes, print this newly created document. On this print dialogue, an option shows up which shows double-sided printing is selected. Un-check this, and voila!
