In order to limit the amount of times you need to sign into your email, you may want to import your Groupwise or other email account to Gmail. To do so, simply follow these steps:
1. Sign into your Gmail account.
2. Click on the gear icon on the top right side of your inbox and scroll down to “settings.”
3. Of the options on the top of the next screen click “Accounts and Import.”
4. About halfway down that page there is an option to “Check mail from other accounts (using POP3),” click “Add a POP3 mail account you own.”
5. A box will pop up where you enter your Groupwise or other email address. The next step is where you enter your password for that account.
6. Check the first option to “Leave a copy of the retrieved message on the server” as well as the third option to “Label incoming messages” as your Groupwise email address. Then click “Add Account.”
7. You will now receive all emails that are sent to your Groupwise account in your Gmail inbox. If you wish to send emails from your Groupwise address through Gmail, continue following the on screen instructions.
8. On the page that follows you should see your Groupwise email address as well as two options, pick the first one.
9. It will then ask you to send a verification to your Groupwise account.
10. Check your Groupwise email for the verification code. Once you enter it in the box on your Gmail screen, it will be set up so you can send emails from both addresses through Gmail.
