Self Reflection
Well with anything you start, you’re going to have some bumps here and there as you get settled and try to find your identity with whatever you may be doing. I know I am not an expert or the best example of how to write a great blog but for this only being my second time writing a blog since my junior year of high school I think I did a pretty good job. My blog connected points about education, the right choice for a person to be successful, and the added pressure society puts on genders. You would think that it would be hard for someone to connect all those topics in an essay and have it make sense but I think I did a pretty good job connecting them to my main claim that college is the best choice for you if you want to be successful. How I got to that point included several hours of research and reading to find the best sources of information for my article. You may ask yourself why I did this, and the reason is because I wanted to give my readers the most information possible so they could make the best informed decision for themselves. It took time finding the best information and trying weed out all the useless information that didn’t need to be in it. It also took time to form the way I wanted to present it, the order I wanted to do it in, and the type of tone I wanted to present to the readers.
The only thing I am a little worried about is that some people might feel that I am telling them what choice to make when in fact I’m just telling them what I think is the best choice. The whole point of this blog is not to make decisions for people but to help people in some way so they can make the right choice for themselves, just as I was lucky enough to make the right choice for myself in choosing college. Not just on this post but ones in the future, I honestly don’t have any big concern about it. I think it will get better as I go along and as I get more into the topic. Maybe I should have more concerns about it or maybe less but like I had said earlier the only kind of big concern I have is the fact that some people may feel that in this blog, I’m telling them the choice to make when again I’m just giving them advice on what I believe is the best choice. Overall I think I did a pretty good job on this post with telling the audience what my argument is what my view is on it, the view of the population and what the best choice for success is.
