This year it will most likely go to Cristiano Ronaldo after winning both the La Liga title and the Champions League title. If he were to win, this would be his fifth Bal\u00f3n de Ore tying Messi&#8217;s current record. It is hard to argue that any other player this campaign deserves this award especially since Real Madrid have not won the La Liga title in eight years and are the first team ever to win back to back Champions League titles. On top of that, he won the European Championships with Portugal last summer and no one has come close to those accomplishments this year and therefore I think he will won.
