Besides the modern language used in chats, forums, and reviews, GameTZ uses symbols for much of their language. This a list of the most common symbols used which they also explain on their site in the FAQs. <\/a>
\n\"NEW\"<\/a>— Appears next to someone’s name when they are new to the site (signed up within the last 60 days).<\/p>\n

\"DIM<\/a>\"SILVER<\/a>\"GOLD<\/a>\"2<\/a>\"3<\/a>\"4<\/a>\"5<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

— These show how many unique traders with whom a person has completed trades here on GameTZ. Click on the star next to a person’s name to see more details on what’s required.<\/p>\n

\"GLOBE\"<\/a>— Trader has set the “Willing to trade Internationally” checkbox on the “My Account” page.<\/p>\n

\"GOLD<\/a>\u00a0— Trader is willing to trade internationally and has proven it by trading with people in countries other than his\/her own seven or more times.<\/p>\n

\"DOT\"<\/a>— Appears as a place-holder icon next to any username that doesn’t yet have a star.<\/p>\n

\"ID\"<\/a>\"GOLD<\/a>— Indicates a trader is subscribed to the site.<\/p>\n

\"CHAT\"<\/a>— Appears next to a member\u2019s name when they are currently in\u00a0Chat.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"LIGHT<\/a>– Appears next to a member\u2019s name when they have been on the site within the last 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

\"ARROW\"<\/a>\u00a0— Appears next to a member’s name when there is a match between you and that trader. Clicking on the symbol leads you to a page listing the match the system has found<\/p>\n

\"BLUE<\/a>– Appears next to a member\u2019s name when that trader wants something on your available list. You have a partial match with them.<\/p>\n

\"RED<\/a>\u00a0– Appears next to a member\u2019s name when that trader has something on your wanted list. You have a partial match with them<\/p>\n

\"HANDSHAKE\"<\/a>— Appears next to a member’s name when you’ve completed a trade with that person<\/p>\n

\"CLIP<\/a>– Indicates that you’ve made a personal note on this user. Click the icon to view\/edit\/delete the note.<\/p>\n

\"GOLD<\/a>\"NOTE\"<\/a>\u00a0This trader has written\u00a0Reviews. The gold symbol is given if they’ve written over 5 reviews. .<\/p>\n

\"FLAG\"<\/a>– Traders who are not from the United States get a flag symbol next to their usernames to indicate their special status.<\/p>\n

\"CAKE\"<\/a>– This trader’s birthday is today!
\n\"1\"<\/a>\"2\"<\/a>\"3\"<\/a>etc – This is an anniversary plaque that appears next to a trader’s username who has been on the site for that many years.
\n\"M\"<\/a>– This is a Moderator<\/p>\n

\"STEAM\"<\/a>= \u201csteam\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Collection: Allows members to list items you have but don’t want to trade. This can allow other traders to see what kinds of things you like, and may even prompt someone to make offers.<\/p>\n

Matching: allows members to match with others by matching those looking for an item with those that have an item.<\/p>\n

Thread Cap: refers to a a user not involved in the pending trade undercutting a trade in progress with either a better deal or reasons for the trade not to take place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
