I guess I am a natural! I was really surprised on how easy everything came out and how I was able to do 22min worth of recording. In the end I decided to cut the last 10 minutes just because to me it seemed like I was repeating myself. With my podcast I wanted to keep it simple, so I used the music that we got in class and cut out everything I did not like. I faded the music in and out during the beginning and end of the song to give it a nice transition and flowed from start to finish.

The biggest pain in the ass was the transcript. After 2000 words and a few hours of listening to myself over and over and over and over and over and over and…..you get my point. I am glad I was able to cut out the last 10minutes of my podcast because that transcript would have been ridiculous. All and all the hardest part is getting the technology to work and to build and design web pages around the project. In the end all I wished was more time and training in web design so I could actually build a proper web site, but I do enjoy my 90’s theme.

The view from the road

When I first arrived at the Gilroy Hot Springs, to do my podcast project; I had no idea how awkward at first it would be but also how easily I adapted to talking to myself.
