Claude Debussy

Claude Debussy was a prominent French composer of music who lived from 1863 to 1918.  He used non-traditional scales and chromaticism, which persuaded many other composers to follow him and inspired him to be an active composer of other cultures, like the African Dance culture. He wrote the song “Golliwog’s Cakewalk” in the year 1913, a long time after the Cakewalk started, symbolizing that the Cakewalk flourished for a long time and was used as names of songs by musical composers.
