Santa Cruz Avenue, University Avenue, Main Street and the several side streets of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.town.los-gatos.ca.us\/\">downtown Los Gatos<\/a> offer a variety of charming boutiques and restaurants for visitors to enjoy before or after their hike. This flour mill was built in the mid 1850s by James Alexander Forbes, and its construction initiated the development of the rest of town, which eventually expanded local industry to logging and agriculture.
