Sometimes this room is served for our after school homework club. Qualified volunteers come in daily and tutor students. Most of these students are trying to break cycle of poverty and doing everything possible to enter a four-year college. Many of the children that come in enjoy coming to the homework club because it is a time to have time for themselves and focus on their studies. Many of these children cannot concentrate at home because many of them have to clean and take care of their siblings.
