Chapter 2: Parenting Center

Okay, now I want walk down the hall and show you the room next door. This is where we have our parenting center. Parents of all ages are welcome to come and receive advice from counselors. Each month we offer parenting workshops that involve parents to come in and take lessons that teach them how to interact better with their children.  Many of the parents’ that come in experience similar problems such a having to work double jobs in order to support their family. It becomes difficult to spend much time with their children and they are afraid of their children making bad decisions behind their back. The goal of these classes is to build a strong bond between parents and their children. As parents are taking these classes their children are usually in the room next door taking classes as well. Let me walk you there so you could get an idea of what exactly goes on in there!
