Welcome to our second class! This class is fully online — not in our classroom. You can complete the classwork at your own pace and at your leisure on Wednesday 9/25. Email me kleuner@scu.edu if you have any questions. Follow the steps listed below for today’s class. On Friday 9/27 and for each MWF afterward, we will meet in-person in our classroom at 10:30am.
- First, watch Wednesday’s introduction video embedded below.
- Read “Introduction: A Battalion of Survivors” (15-24) in Inside This Place, Not Of It , which you can find in Camino under Files. Be sure to annotate your reading and/or take notes in a notebook. What statistics jump out at you? What questions do you have?
- Watch It’s Criminal. This film is an 80-minute documentary, so set aside adequate time to watch the full film and take notes. You can stream the film here: https://santaclarau.kanopy.com/video/its-criminal. You will need your SCU ID and password to access the video online through Kanopy.
