Besides this obvious fact, an Internet culture allows people of each individual Internet community to create themselves into whomever they want to be. Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.internet-turbo.com\/images\/internet.gif\">Google<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Internet cultures are unique in the sense that one isn\u2019t judged or criticized for their physical appearance, but rather have the opportunity to \u201ccreate\u201d an image they want people to see. They have the opportunity to escape reality and establish the (virtual) world they wish to live in.<\/p>\n<p>Culture is something that is<em> learned<\/em> and depends on where you live, who raises you, and what ways you the culture is displayed (food, attire, etc). Internet culture and communities, on the other hand, plays the role of <em>teacher<\/em>: these cultures, working together, educate their members and influence diversity among the selected community.<\/p>\n<p>This is the very reason that WritersCafe.org (WC) constitutes as an Internet culture: not only because it resides online, but also because it has a distinct community of people who utilize the Internet to share their values, goals and attitudes about writing.
