Prologue

Ever wondered what happened to good ol’ fashioned pen and paper when it came to writing? How and where did the times of sending hand-written letters and hand-written journal entries, poems, stories, etc go? Although these past practices of recording our most artistic and imaginative creations have taken a back seat to modern day advances, we can breathe knowing people still express their originality.

These creations have moved to, yup, you guessed it: the Internet. The continuous and ever-changing world of technology has given people the opportunity to flourish and re-create themselves. Now, writing communities are gathering and forming online to showcase works of such talented, gifted writers. Giving people the opportunity to have a voice through words by the touch of a key board proves to be both the most convenient and desired form of modern day writing.
