My Friends & Family, Source: ME<\/p><\/div>\n

Hello hello and welcome to my Homepage. I was born and raised in Santa Cruz County, Ca, and currently attending my last year at Santa Clara University<\/a> for my Bachelors Degree . I am a Communications major in hopes of managing my families business. Along with school, I love to be around my family and friends, play basketball, baking, going to the beach, wake boarding, and pretty much do anything outdoors.<\/p>\n

This website was created for my English 138 “Internet Culture” class taught by Professor Olin Bjork at SCU. This website includes: My Blog<\/a> (analyzing all of our assigned readings in class, Cultural Hypertext<\/a> (World of Warcraft\/ Guilds\/First Team Germanica) Tactical Hypertext<\/a> (PSA on Adderall & Alcohol) & lastly our group Analytical Hypertext<\/a> (analyzing Little Brother\u00a0& Hacktivism)<\/p>\n

In my blog, I analyze all of the readings assigned in class. Some of the reading that I analyzed were: Homeland<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>by Cory Doctorow,\u00a0This Machine Kills Secrets:<\/a><\/em>\u00a0<\/em>by Andy Greenberg,\u00a0Nine Propositions Towards a Cultural Theory of YouTube<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>by Henry Jenkins were some of the fascinating & intriguing article I analyzed. My Culture hypertext main goal was to create a\u00a0\u00a0site for the viewer to receive the best understanding of what a guild is in WoW and what the communication, interaction, and the unique qualities and traits are amongst this particular guild called First Legion of Germanica. My Tactical hypertext is somewhat of \u00a0PSA on mixing Adderall & Alcohol and all of the dangerous side effects that can occur. This hypertext is broken up into sections: Intro (including my PSA video on The Deadly Party Cocktail) , Ingredients (Alcohol & Adderall), The Party Craze ( Why People Use it), Dangers (Side Effects) Advocating for Change, Lit Review & Annotated Bib. Lastly, I have my group Analytical Hypertext<\/a>\u00a0analyzing the novel Little Brother<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>by Cory Doctorow. We also make a connection between the book and Hacktivism, which is very interesting. On this site we created a video on Second Life on what we expect next from the novel. This is a really cool site, I encourage you to check it out.<\/p>\n
