Everyone is connected and if before no one knew who you were, now everyone is exposed to millions of other people through the use of daily use technological devices such as laptops, cellphones, etc and also through a social network such as Twitter, Facebook, Linked-In, and many others that help create a presence of each of us in the virtual and social world that is the internet. Being connected with others is proposed to help better ourselves and others. Yet, not everyone desires to be connected just like Andrew Keen told Hoffman Reid so what happens then? He was very skeptical about people not wanting to be part of the social networking\u00a0occurring\u00a0online because he believes that &#8220;<em>that man is, by nature, a social animal&#8221;<\/em>. The future will be a social media world and everyone will have to be part of it one way or another. Privacy will be a forgotten\u00a0matter and all those thoughts that were personal and unique, can and will be exposed to the entire world just like it is currently available through Tweets and FB posts. I think our identities will be jeopardized and will be transformed in a manner that we ourselves will continue to reanalyze over and over who we truly are. We will lose a sense of privacy, sense of self, and expose ourselves in its entirety. Will this be for the better of our society or will it just continue to create more problems?
