Today’s library session…

I could honestly say it was almost like a review session for me. I am not trying to show off here but truthfully I did know all of this information… I just choose to not do it very often…rarely at all really.

We basically were shown how to introduce authors and researchers for our evidence in our research essays. Which sounds like what you learn when you first learn how to write research papers but this went into a lot more depth. We were required to give background on the author and the reasoning of why they were so qualified to give their argument on whatever the particular subject was.

We were given a scavenger like assignment like we have previously in the same class to learn how to introduce an author correctly. Although it might not be the most exciting way to learn, it is rather effective I must say.

I know this helps build a paper to be a lot better, it gives it more credibility. It’s basically like adding ethos to your paper because it gives the reader reason to believe what you are saying is true. And along with making your paper look and sound professional it helps introduce and give credit to the authors in a manner that gives your paper more depth.
