I would like to take the time in my last post to thank the ones that have followed it. I am sure that the number is not to large but for those of you that did, thank you. I don’t know if this was the most exciting blog roll but I tried to make It as entertaining as I could.

I’ll now take some time to reflect on how I felt about writing blogs for an academic purpose and see if I actually learned something from it!

I would first and for most say that I did find writing blogs useful. It would help me come up with analysis for my academic papers because I could easily get out what I was thinking into writing on this blog. Basically, just putting my thoughts down onto to paper. Then after that I would be able to translate them into formal writing later with more ease. But what I will also be honest about with writing blogs is that it can be quite the challenge sometimes.

Coming up with topics to write about when you don’t have a prompt can be one of the hardest parts about writing the blogs. When you are given a prompt for writing something that is not academic writing (formal) that might be one of the easier assignments for me. I can just write and write and write without an issue. But when it is open for anything, it seemed like you couldn’t come up with one thing to write! I mean you know that there could be a ton to write about but at the same time you don’t know what acceptable.

So I would say that I did take something out of writing blogs. When I am writing later down the road I hopefully I will be able to be able to get what I am thinking down on the paper easier.
