“Write your reflections on “the territory” and “gap” your sources are revealing”
At first, I honestly did not know what this question was asking, or really, how to answer it. I didn’t know because I really didn’t understand the concept of a gap. But when I found out what it was and how it talked about the part in the research where there is a blind spot. A blind spot meaning that there is a point in the article that doesn’t address a certain region of the subject they are talking about.

In my articles, I am noticing the gap of researchers not talking about how often these students were exposed to alcohol and other drugs pre-college. Because I feel that this would certainly affect they way they decide to make choices in college.

If a kid was to grow up in a culture in which they found him or herself involved with a party scene, then maybe going into college they already were consuming high amounts of alcohol. Therefore being an athlete isn’t the real reason they now drink. When you think about it this way, it could seem that this could skew the survey results that these researchers conducted. I tried to look into this aspect of the topic and could not really find a whole bunch of information about it, which means it is truly a gap.
