This is why some members of other reddit channels feel like r\/atheism is filled with people who are &#8220;pretentious&#8221;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Agnosticism versus Atheism<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Although the community rules state that this forum is for both agnostics and atheists, successful posts are traditionally extremist.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Battling Oppression versus Battling God<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A large portion of arguments are not against the\u00a0existence\u00a0of god, but rather against oppression that certain religions create. For example, religious arguments against LGBT communities are a large portion of the content that succeeds on r\/atheism.
