These make Audi Hungaria the center of VW group global supply chain and one of fourth largest engine plants in the world.<\/p>\n<p>The pressure to coordinate its engine production with the production needs of the business units increased.\u00a0<a href=\"ftp:\/\/ftp.software.ibm.com\/software\/solutions\/pdfs\/AHMFinal10-28.pdf\">This leads to the failure to provide a unit with needed parts and results in a costly and disruptive production shutdown in as little as two days.<\/a>\u00a0Moreover, there were more transactions coming from more sources. Its systems can&#8217;t handle them.<\/p>\n<p>Audi Hungaria&#8217;s existing ERP system cannot meet the company&#8217;s new requirements. To solve the problems, it redesigned its ERP system to\u00a0meet the rigorous\u00a0demand in VW group.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Automatie\u00a0tracking inbound and outbound delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Integration of forecasting, engine production planning, and MRP in real-time<\/li>\n<li>Streamline planning by VW group supplier portal.
