By making dishes of exact, and limited proportions, I often finish meals with zero waste while also saving money and eating healthier. In this post, I am sharing a few tips that I have used to make meal-prepping better and more efficient!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cook the week\u2019s meals in a single day &#8212; this saves loads of time and prevents you from having to whip up lunch or dinner every single time you want to eat.<\/li><li>Do not complicate meals &#8212; stick to the basics. Oftentimes, I just eat rice, chicken, and broccoli. However, there is certainly room to be creative.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Invest in glass containers &#8212; these are somewhat pricey (~$30 for 5 containers) but well worth it in my opinion. You can easily see what is inside the clear containers and since they are reusable, you won\u2019t be constantly recycling plastic containers.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Have a few favorite meals on repeat &#8212; it is easy to get bored of what you are eating, so make sure you are choosing foods that you can eat regularly!<\/li><li>Find a good podcast &#8212; cooking in large quantities often takes a long time. It takes me about 90 minutes to cook everything, and I do that usually twice a week as I cook for 3 days out.
