This article talks about how the UN Food and Agriculture Organization released a report in February which concluded that livestock is responsible for 18 percent of our world global warming emissions. A study by the University of Chicago takes into account meat\u2019s entire lifecycle, meaning that each meat eater is responsible for 1.5 more tons of greenhouse gases than a vegan per year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They believe that we don\u2019t have to stop eating red meat entirely, but we will have to curb our diets to some degree to limit the amount of red meat produced throughout the world. In reality, beef production is a major leader in world greenhouse gas emissions and must be addressed on a global scale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
