This documentary dives deep into the horrors around plastic. Not only is plastic negatively affecting marine life, but they are hurting us. The Australian journalist Craig Leeson takes us through an investigation of the impacts that plastic has caused to our environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will be able to see how much plastic has accumulated in the ocean and that it is only growing faster. Even though you may not see a bunch of plastic in the ocean, there is plastic that has broken into very small pieces that you can\u2019t easily notice. You will begin to understand the severity of the plastic issue and how it is detrimental to all life.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is impossible to completely stop the production of plastic at the moment, but the film provides ways that you can reduce your plastic waste. This film should make you frustrated about the current situation and inspire you to help transition away from plastic! It can be as simple as picking up a piece of plastic trash on the beach or avoiding purchasing single-use plastic products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I 100% recommend you watch this documentary. It’s available on Netflix! A Plastic Ocean<\/em> is very informative and will surprise you along the way.
