- This is an organization that is involved all over the USA. They do have a section for the State of California as well as many other states. Here they have options to donate and support them and their goals for people to may not be able to volunteer or is limited in someway for whatever reason. - Environmental Working Group
- An organization that is involved all over the USA. They provide strategies for conserving water and having better environmental practices. This is the organization that tested USA cities tap water and found that many of them are contaminated with chemicals that have been tested and linked to causing cancer. It is possible to donate to them to support the work that they do.

- This is a local creek clean up organization. If anybody reading this is local, around the Bay Area then this is a super cool volunteering option for you! I have been apart of this and have volunteered with them. It’s really great and extremely disheartening at the same time. Helping here feels super rewarding and is amazing to see the amount of trash bags that were filled up in the end.
