12 Tides

12 Tides is a B-Corporation that sells kelp snacks! 12 Tides tackles the issue of plastic pollution by using 100% compostable packaging. However, 12 Tides is sustainable in many other ways and maintains the functions of the earth’s systems and natural resources for future generations by sourcing kelp from regenerative ocean farms and helping to fund kelp restoration projects off the coast of California. 12 Tides is based out of San Francisco but can be found in stores in the Bay Area and Southern California. 45% of the materials in U.S landfills are from food and packaging/containers, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Support this company instead of larger, unsustainable companies that use wasteful, plastic packaging that will pollute our waterways and land!
