Main Parking Lot Entrance
From the main parking lot we will walk towards the park entrance. After walking over the ramp we will find a direction information sign which will provide us with the direction to Deer Hollow Farm. There we will notice that the farm is 1 mile away from the entrance, however there are two possible ways that we can take. Today we will take the path on the right.
As we continue along this trail we will notice that there are tennis courts on the left hand side as well as a picnic area where families can enjoy lunch or host a birthday party at the reserve.
As we continue along the trail we will come a cross a beautiful California Bay Tree, this tree serves the trail with many uses for example it is a natural insect repellent. As we continue to move along the trail we will be approaching the entrance to the Open Space preserve.
