This book portrays Bill Robinson as a man with great dignity and someone who was not afraid to stand up for himself and what he believed. It goes into depth about his argumentative nature and how talented of a performer he was who danced for equality.

Although this book was instructed in illustrations and rhymes, it gave great insight into Bill Robinson’s dance style. I was able to visualize it better through pictures of his form and expression.
