My name is Beverlyn Law.
I’m a Chinese-American female college student majoring in marketing. I’m also a huge fashion addict, a dog person, and a red velvet cake lover. My hobbies include managing my two fashion Instagram accounts (@yaybev and @fashi_addict), listening to Korean hip-hop, taking amateur photos of clothes, and running – just to name a few. I am a feminist, an ally to the LGBTQ community, and above all, an advocate for solidarity.
As you can see, I’m not the best at introducing myself. But society has made this an easy task for me by preassigning me labels, so sometimes I don’t even really need to introduce who I really am.
So put me under the Asian female stereotype. I dare you.
But anyway, let’s get to the point of why I’m even here.
I am writing this blog for an assignment for my English class, but we’ll see where this takes me. I’ve always wanted to try my hand at blogging but I never could find time, and now I have the joy of combining class and interest into one.
