That’s fine, if it’s well written!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n I once got an email from a student, starting the sentence, “hey…” Please address your professor properly, or simply just say “Hi Professor”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Email is for us to establish easier communication, but it is absolutely NOT instant messages, especially I am not your peer. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the most common reasons that you write to me, is to ask a question or clarify a problem or schedule a meeting.
