International Agroecology short courses

CAN’s Agroecology Shortcourse is a two-week intensive learning and living experience from breakfast through dinner, geared towards introducing students and professionals to agroecology and fostering knowledge exchange and networking among individuals working toward food systems change.

As part of the Dr. Steve Gliessman’s agroecology group during his PhD work at UC Santa Cruz and one of the founding members of the CAN, Dr. Chris Bacon was an instructor in many of these courses and the academic lead for the 2014 and 2006 agroecology shortcourses organized in Nicaragua.
