This allows for Pok\u00e9mon of the same level and species to have completely different stats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Move-Set:<\/strong>\u00a0The four attack options that a Pok\u00e9mon has.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nature:<\/strong>\u00a0The nature of a Pok\u00e9mon describes the personality that the Pok\u00e9mon has. It can have one of 25 natures. Each nature affects the base stats of the Pok\u00e9mon by raising one and lowering another.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pok\u00e9mon Breeder:<\/strong> A person who selectively breeds Pok\u00e9mon in order to obtain a specific move-set, nature, ability, or individual value set<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_103\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.scu.edu\/aecculturalhypertext\/files\/2012\/10\/Pokedex.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-103\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-103\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.scu.edu\/aecculturalhypertext\/files\/2012\/10\/Pokedex-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-103\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A Pokedex Source: <a title=\"Pokedex Image\" href=\"http:\/\/pokemon.wikia.com\/wiki\/File:Pok%C3%A9dex_DP.png\">pokemon.wikia.com<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Pok<strong>\u00e9<\/strong>mon Master:<\/strong> The world champion Pok\u00e9mon player<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pok\u00e9dex:<\/strong>\u00a0An in-game catalogue that lists all Pok\u00e9mon seen and captured<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stats:<\/strong> Each Pok\u00e9mon has 6 basic stats: Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed, and Hit Points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Common Pok\u00e9mon Builds:<\/strong> All of the definitions of the commonly used roles are listed below.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>&#8211; Baton Passer<\/strong>:\u00a0A pokemon who uses baton pass to pass stat boosts to another pokemon.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8211; Cleric:<\/strong> A Pok\u00e9mon who heals others and cures status afflictions such as poisoned, burned, or paralyzed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8211; Dual Screener<\/strong>: A Pok\u00e9mon who knows light-screen and reflect.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8211; Mixed Sweeper<\/strong>: A sweeper who has high physical attack and special attack stats. They normally use both to their advantage<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8211; Physical Sweeper<\/strong>: A Pok\u00e9mon who has a high physical attack and uses that stat to their advantage<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8211; Rapid Spinner \/ Spinner<\/strong>: A Pok\u00e9mon who uses Rapid Spin to remove spikes, stealth rock, or toxic spikes<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8211; Special Sweeper<\/strong>: A Pok\u00e9mon who has a high special attack stat.
