Willi Ninja is known as the best voguer in the underground balls that they gay men performed in. He is the “mother” for The House of Ninja, one of the places where the balls took place. He was very good to all of the people who were a part of it. One of the aspects of his dancing that was most memorable was when he went low to the floor and landed in different poses. He was very interesting to watch.

When Madonna came out with her song and music video “Vogue” in 1990, many people decided that vogue is what they wanted to do. They were inspired by what she did and wanted to be able to do it for themselves. Madonna’s song and video sparked an interest in many Americans and gave a new light to how African Americans started vogue dance.
